Iqbal Day (Campus O)-LHE

Iqbal day was celebrated on 9th November 2020 at Bahria Town School & College with zeal, fervor, and enthusiasm. This time it was done differently through Virtual/Online classes.

The celebration started with the recitation of Holy Quran and then the teachers presented their PowerPoint presentations to highlight the life, works, and contribution of our national poet, Allama Muhammad Iqbal.

Students came online and paid their tribute/homage in a befitting manner. They presented their eloquent Urdu and English speeches, poetry and roleplays, written by Allama Iqbal. Students took active part in reading some parts from Iqbal’s poetry which clearly depicts that we need to break the invisible shackles of subservience and learn to live like a self-respecting nation.

Famous poems of Allama Iqbal like Ya Rab Dil-e- Muslim ko, Chand aur Taray, Shehad ki Makhi were played online which were admired by all students and they thoroughly enjoyed them.

We must all cherish and uphold the dignity envisaged in the works of the great Allama
